currently kathmandu could be called as city of demolition and destruction. everything is out of place, total chaos and maximum pollution. the trauma has not only suffered human but also living force around us.
this incident really contradict and so as the picture collage. i want to subject as result of development and effect on architecture but not furniture land which eats ups the living tree, that was not what happened.
architecture captures the context, it has its own responsibility to make its habitation in context having its own identity. thus the built structures merges with its surroundings and coherence appears. the same had happened in this building which by the tragic incident lost its charm.
by this its not against the road extension but i hope if there was alternatives and condition to re-plant.

the left hand side from maitighar starts from commercial building designed by outre in pixellate effect this follows furniture land, court building, monster bulding of ntc, very popular building by design cell krishna tower and some commercial buildings followed by oldest among these is brutalist modern building everest hotel and ends with pixel facade by outre again symbolising the continuation of progression level we have reached.
   while we look at north relatively south siide lacks very much of landmark buildings.
